Sawyer Seminars is proud to offer the following fellowship opportunity

PhD Travel Bursaries (2008-2010)

The Sawyer Seminars offers a limited number of bursaries to graduate students interested in taking
part in one of our conferences or attending a seminar.  We offer up to $750 for students traveling
from overseas, and up to $500 for students traveling from within the US, depending on the number of applicants and available funds.  If you would like to apply for one of these bursaries, please send a letter of interest, a CV and a letter of support from your PhD supervisor or the chair of your department.

 Your letter of interest should describe:
1. your thesis topic 2. your interest in the conference/seminar and 3. give a brief estimation of
your costs of travel and lodging.

Deadlines:

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Applicants are advised to submit applications at least one and preferably two months in advance of the conference date in order to ensure that there is enough time to make travel arrangements.
